Course Summary

Product development processes are highly complex by nature. Product developers need to consider multiple requirements when formulating a new product, such as customer and legal requirements or cost targets. They need tools that support and accelerate their daily work in this fast-changing, innovative environment. End-to-end digitalization in product development helps them achieve this goal.

This course will show you how to enrich product development processes using intelligent and collaborative tools to formulate improved or brand-new products in process industries.

In this course, you’ll learn how teams can work together efficiently from design to manufacturing. You’ll understand how to identify requirements and map these to future products, and how to identify cost drivers early on and see how the efficient management of R&D projects help to see the workload ahead. The course will also guide you through creating the detailed product specification, the development of compliant recipes, and finally the handover to manufacturing.
