Course Summary

Many companies still run in departmental silos, which in turn leads to functional silos in all aspects of the supply chain, from design, plan, manufacture, deliver to operate . This results in a need for a connected supply chain, from the design of new smarter products through manufacturing and delivery and ultimately, through the full lifecycle of the product in the field. This doesn’t just apply across departments within an organization, it also applies to the ecosystem of customers, suppliers, contract manufacturers, logistics service providers, and other partners. The only way to address these challenges is to build an end-to-end digital supply chain, from design and planning to manufacturing, logistics, and operations. To achieve a digital supply chain, you need to “connect digitally to perfect reality”.

In this course, you’ll learn what the vision of the Intelligent Enterprise means and how important the intelligent digital supply chain is for transforming this vision into reality. We’ll also give you an insight into the complete portfolio of SAP’s supply chain solutions, and how each of them supports you to digitally connect your entire supply chain, to deliver at your best today while you adapt and continuously improve to reshape how you deliver tomorrow, and to eventually perfect reality.
