Course Summary

Transforming ERP systems and processes is a huge challenge to companies of any size and in every industry. To support customers in their transformation endeavors end-to-end, SAP has developed a transformation methodology which, together with the cloud-based process management platform SAP Signavio, helps companies to understand, improve, and transform business processes.

In this course, you’ll get to know this transformation methodology and learn about the capabilities of SAP Signavio solutions to support each phase of a transformation. You’ll also find out how companies can leverage a transformation project to start managing business processes sustainably.

In week one we’ll set the stage for the upcoming weeks and introduce you to some basics around the course, SAP S/4HANA transformations, and the transformation methodology behind SAP Signavio solutions. Week two will introduce some fundamental knowledge around the topic of business process management and how it can help companies to be best in class and prepared for any kind of change. In week three you’ll dive into analyzing business processes using the process analysis and mining tools in SAP Signavio Process Insights and Process Intelligence. The focus in week four will be on designing processes based on the previous process analysis and along typical SAP S/4HANA use cases. We’ll also introduce some value accelerators and touch on the topic of governance and workspace setup. Week five will be about interfaces to SAP Signavio solutions and the Model-to-Deploy phase. Specifically, we’ll cover enterprise architecture management, application lifecycle management, and enablement. In week six we’ll show you how to walk the extra mile by leveraging the SAP ecosystem with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence and advanced analytics functionalities. And finally, week seven will leave you time to prepare for and take the final exam.

Fabian Price

Fabian Price works as a process intelligence consultant for SAP Signavio, leading the process improvement projects.​

His first contact with process management was in 2015. He then decided to study process management in a dual curriculum, and functionally owned workflow management at his partner company. Following this, he assumed responsibility for Lufthansa Technik’s supply chain as an IT product owner and IT project manager. Simon Blattmann is an expert product lead in the SAP Signavio product leadership team, where he is responsible for defining the vision and strategy for SAP integrations with the SAP Signavio solution portfolio. His current focus is on SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.​

Simon joined SAP in 2007, starting in SAP Business Transformation Consulting as a recognized expert in business process management. He has worked in various external and internal consulting positions and has more than four years of experience in product management. Michael Klöffer

Michael Klöffer is chief product owner for the CXS Build market and in charge of the strategy, definition, and rollout of SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, and SAP Cloud ALM.​

After completing his studies in computer science, Michael joined SAP in 2003 as a product manager for what later became SAP Business ByDesign.
