Course information

Course Summary

SAP Central Business Configuration is the tool designed to let you configure a business process spanning different SAP cloud solutions from one central place. SAP Central Business Configuration supports the configuration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, but aims at seamless implementation of end-to-end business processes across SAP’s cloud portfolio. Every new SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition customer uses SAP Central Business Configuration for their implementation.

In this course, you’ll learn about the capabilities of SAP Central Business Configuration, the customer value it brings, the key features it includes, and how it supports the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition.

Compared to the previous course, most of the units have been updated to reflect the new developments and enhancements that we’ve implemented in the meantime, including the latest user interface (UI) changes. Moreover, there’s a completely new unit introducing an exciting new topic that we call the parallel project line, a new feature currently only available to selected early adopters. The last unit of this course gives you an updated outlook on the future of SAP Central Business Configuration.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition is the first solution supported by SAP Central Business Configuration. You’ll understand how SAP Central Business Configuration aims to reduce configuration efforts, increase flexibility, and speed up company rollouts. You’ll also learn about key features such as Project Experience and scoping, the setup of the organizational structure, and configuration activities. These key features guide users through all the necessary steps to manage their implementation and ongoing operations. They help them decide which business processes should be in scope and support them in setting up the organizational structure of their company or in tailoring their business processes to their needs.
