Course Summary

In our previous courses, Key Technical Topics in a System Conversion to SAP S/4HANA and Key Functional Topics in a System Conversion to SAP S/4HANA, we focused on the technical and functional aspects you need to manage during a system conversion.

With this course, we want to answer some of the commonly asked questions from customers when they consider and plan a move to SAP S/4HANA.

The first units focus on topics your customers must consider when transitioning to SAP S/4HANA. For example, they’ll need to understand the key differences between legacy SAP ERP capabilities and the new streamlined SAP S/4HANA Finance process. The business partner concept is another major change for most customers.

The focus then shifts to the innovations SAP customers may want to consider in their projects. This could be something as simple as rolling out the SAP Fiori launchpad and adopting some of the embedded analytical reports.

Customers who did a “technical” transition from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA as a first step sometimes struggle to understand the value of the investment. Innovation topics are therefore becoming increasingly important as a way of showcasing to customers the value you get from transitioning to SAP S/4HANA. Showing the potential innovations that can be adopted with future rollouts in the project plan is key.

We’ll answer some of the most common questions and present demos of some of the available Innovations to help you to prepare for your journey to SAP S/4HANA.
