Course Summary
With this course, you’ll learn about the capabilities of SAP Central Business Configuration, the customer value it brings, which key features it comprises, and how it affects the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Essentials Edition, formerly known as multi-tenant edition).
SAP Central Business Configuration is a new capability that will make it possible to configure a business process that spans across different SAP solutions from one central place. The SAP Central Business Configuration capability will allow the configuration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, but it aims at a seamless implementation of end-to-end business processes across SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Suite.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud will be the first solution to be supported by SAP Central Business Configuration. You’ll learn how the SAP Central Business Configuration capability will bring reduced configuration efforts, higher flexibility, faster company rollouts, and partner extensions. You’ll also learn about key features such as Scoping and Project Experience and the Organizational Structure app. These guide users through all the necessary steps to decide which business processes should be in scope, to manage your projects, or to set up the organizational structure of your company.

He acts as an instructor for openSAP courses and further training sessions, and drives internal communication together with content and project management. Fabian also leads the how-to video production for SAP Central Business Configuration and acts as stakeholder manager.
Felix Peter is chief product owner for customer experience in the area of SAP Cloud SME solutions and content, ensuring a consistent experience for our customers along their entire journey with SAP.
The focus of his role is the first customer touchpoints before contract closure, such as discovery of the available scope, but also the guided handling of implementation projects, business-driven configuration, and surrounding tasks such as system provisioning and proactive support.

Jörg Rupprecht leads the Project Experience area within SAP Central Business Configuration. He is responsible for the design and development of a consistent project experience for customers and partners.
Prior to this, Jörg led the end-to-end SAP Activate Cloud Deployment Experience team, with the aim of developing efficient customer self-services for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. In previous roles, he gained management and consulting expertise and extensive knowledge in leading teams, programs, and other facets of SAP solutions.
Steffen Wolf is a product expert for the consumption experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
He has now been with SAP for more than 12 years. He has worked in areas of software modeling, SRM development, data type modeling, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud product management.
