Course information

Course Summary

Many small and midsize enterprises, as well as subsidiaries of large corporations, have chosen SAP Business ByDesign to run their operations. SAP Business ByDesign supports a wide range of industry verticals and business scenarios for small and midsize enterprises. This cloud-based business management solution provides localization content for more than 160 countries/regions in a three-tiered approach with varying levels of process automation. This enables partners and customers to extend and adapt SAP Business ByDesign capabilities to meet their country/region-specific requirements.

The business needs of small enterprises can be very specific and vary from company to company. This course will teach you how to develop add-ons and maintain business configurations to meet your country/region-specific business requirements using the localization toolkit guidelines, with plenty of demonstrations to follow.

The course begins with an introduction to localization with SAP Business ByDesign. It then moves on to partner-enabled localization, with an overview of the basic configuration required for country/region localization. You’ll be introduced to the concept of taxes, tax calculation, tax reporting, and electronic submission of tax returns. You'll also learn how to generate a custom electronic file and use it in various business scenarios such as E-invoicing, tax returns, and payment files. Finally, you’ll get an overview of the language translation tool, which enables you to translate text into different languages.
