Course Summary

SAP Profitability and Performance Management Cloud is a digital performance management solution that enables you to maintain and execute complex calculations, rules, and simulations. Built on SAP HANA Cloud, it provides breakthrough real-time business data aggregation capabilities, a high-speed calculation and processing engine, and comprehensive simulation and scenario management.

In this course we’ll scratch the surface of SAP Profitability and Performance Management Cloud. You’ll learn about the advantages of SAP Profitability and Performance Management Cloud and what makes it such a powerful tool. The course also includes an end-to-end profit allocation model that will help you better understand the main functions in the system: allocation, as well as the drilldown and auditability features and report creation.

The course begins with an introduction to the solution, after which you’ll understand how SAP Profitability and Performance Management Cloud is used in practice, how it speeds up calculations and decision making in companies, and how using the system helps you overcome traditional solution problems.
In the second week you’ll get to know the application interface. You’ll learn about the system architecture, the main functionalities, and the different applications. You’ll also learn how to monitor and audit models created within the system, and how to generate reports based on these models.

The final week is dedicated to the practical application of SAP Profitability and Performance Management Cloud. Here, you’ll be introduced to the concept of allocation and will get the chance to develop a real-life scenario in the system: the profit share allocation model. We’ll show you how to create the end-to-end allocation model, starting from database creation through Profitability and Performance Management modeling to result analysis and report creation.
