Course Summary

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP Applications is a leading Linux platform for hosting SAP workloads, including SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP S/4HANA. The alliance between SUSE and SAP spans two decades of collaboration and innovation. If you’re running SAP, the chances are you’re running it on SLES for SAP Applications.

Hosting mission-critical SAP workloads requires careful planning to ensure the system remains available. Moving towards zero downtime will include implementing a high availability solution to guard against component failure, whether that be hardware, network, or software.

SLES for SAP Applications includes components specifically designed to optimize SLES for hosting SAP workloads. One of these components is the High Availability Extension.

Successfully deploying and configuring a high availability (HA) solution based on SLES for SAP Applications requires knowledge of HA architecture along with knowledge about how to deploy and configure the components. In this course, you’ll learn how to deploy and configure an SLES HA cluster. You’ll also discover how to configure cluster resources to enable high availability for hosted applications. Once the cluster is working, administration procedures and tools are introduced. Finally, you’ll be able to deploy, configure, and manage an SLES HA cluster.

Whether you’re an SAP customer or partner, knowing how to deploy and configure the HA component of SLES for SAP Applications will enable your organization to move towards zero downtime for critical workloads.

Here is what some participants are saying about the course:
