Today’s users have high expectations when it comes to user experience, thanks to the many intuitive mobile apps and Internet sites available everywhere: They expect a delightful experience across all the business systems they need to get their work done. SAP has risen to the challenge and taken the award-winning SAP Fiori 2.0 design system to the next level with SAP Fiori 3. We focused on ensuring consistency across SAP’s portfolio, as well as enhancing the overall user experience by embedding intelligence, natural language interaction, and information from multiple systems to help users get their work done more easily.

In this course, you’ll learn about SAP Fiori 3 and how it provides a consistent, intelligent, and integrated user experience for the Intelligent Enterprise.

Today, August 5th 2019, the very first steps becomes available to end users with SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1908: the new Quartz theme as a successor of the Belize theme used with SAP Fiori 2.0, and the new shell header bar, which also replaces the viewport introduced with SAP Fiori 2.0. Thomas Reiss is vice president of SAP User Experience Product Management, focusing on the adoption of innovations such as SAP Fiori and SAP CoPilot in SAP applications. Thomas joined SAP in 1993 as a developer and has had various leadership roles in development since 1995. Prior to joining SAP, Thomas spent two years as a developer in computer security at BASF AG. He holds a PhD and an MA in Electrical and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge, England.

Jan Rüssel is a senior director with SAP User Experience Product Management, where his focus is on SAP Fiori, its design evolution, and its adoption by SAP applications. Jan joined SAP in 2004 as a developer in CRM and has held various architect, project, and management roles.
