Course Summary
SAP BTP, ABAP environment is the Platform as a Service for ABAP developers. In this course, you’ll learn about the basic components of SAP Business Technology Platform and get a good understanding of the ABAP development environment in SAP BTP.
In addition, we’ll explain how the ABAP programming model has evolved over time and will focus on the ABAP RESTful programming model (RAP), which is part of the ABAP environment and is used widely in the ABAP community.
In this course, we’ll also take a look at how to extend your SAP business applications to meet your business needs. We’ll introduce you to SAP Extension Suite, discuss why extensibility is so important and show you what the developer tools are. Extension use-cases and extension types such as in-app and side-by-side extensibility will be explained. We’ll also walk through an example scenario to demonstrate how to implement side-by-side extensions.
