SAP Ariba Start Sourcing is a free, intuitive, web-based RFx management tool that empowers users to create, execute, and manage sourcing events on the Ariba Network, the world’s largest commerce network which connects over 4 million buyers and sellers globally.

In this course you’ll learn how to use the SAP Ariba Start Sourcing solution. This starter kit course provides step-by-step guidance to help you navigate through the solution and explain how to ‘upgrade’ to SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing. It begins with an introduction to SAP Ariba Start Sourcing, before moving on to the basics of navigating the solution, including creating, monitoring, and managing sourcing events. Various solution demos as well as selected insights into the latest SAP Ariba Sourcing highlights round off the course.

The starter kit course provides the perfect partner to help you make the most out of SAP Ariba Start Sourcing. There are no self-tests or discussion forum available in the course, but you can earn a Record of Achievement and Digital Badge by completing the course assignment.

He has been working for SAP for over 8 years and has overall more than 25 years experience in areas like Solution/Product Management, Business management, Go-To-Market strategies and Customer management. He has experience in different industries across multiple geographies.
Roberto has also acted as an instructor for SAP and Procurement-related trainings and as speaker at various business conferences and events.

Michael Waugh

Michael Waugh is a Director in the Solution Management team responsible for Ariba’s Strategic Procurement Solutions. He has been with SAP for 14 years, Initially working as a Project Manager in SAP’s Global Purchasing Organization before moving in to the Product and Innovations Organization where he has worked as a Product and Solution Manager on a number of SAP’s on premise procurement solutions

David Morel

David Morel is Senior Product Manager at SAP. For the last 14 years, he has been active in the Spend Management / Strategic Sourcing space.
His responsibilities include managing the growth and evolution of the SAP Ariba Sourcing solution. In this role David works closely as the intermediary between SAP’s customers and the engineering group to help define requirements and insure the solution becomes what SAP’s customers want. He is also active in supporting Commercial teams in their efforts with prospects and customers.
