SAP S/4HANA is SAP’s next-generation business suite, designed to help you run simple in a digital and networked world. An implementation of the public edition of SAP S/4HANA Cloud is always a new implementation, that is, a new system together with the configuration of business processes using SAP Best Practices. The SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit is the only tool that can support you with the initial data load to the public edition of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

In this course, we’ll give you an overview of the features and functions of the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit. After an introduction to data migration, you’ll learn about the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit and be guided through the migration process. We’ll share best practices as well as information about related apps. The course contains detailed system demos based on SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2302. A follow-up openSAP course, Migrating Data to SAP S/4HANA Using the Migration Cockpit, will cover the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit and the migration object modeler for SAP S/4HANA and the private edition of SAP S/4HANA Cloud in detail.

If your motivation for taking this course is to get an overview of the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit, you don’t need access to a demo system. However, we’ll also offer optional hands-on exercises as part of the openSAP course “Migrating Data to SAP S/4HANA Using the Migration Cockpit”. You could use them to familiarize yourself with the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit. These exercises are based on SAP S/4HANA 2022 FSP1.
