Course information

Course Summary

This course is a repeat of last year’s course, with some additional information added to the handout material. You’ll also have a chance to use a hands-on system.

The course focuses on the functional aspects of a system conversion to SAP S/4HANA to help you prepare and familiarize yourself with the new tooling available. The course is brought to you by the SAP S/4HANA Regional Implementation Group, who support customers on their journey to SAP S/4HANA. The topics are based on project experiences and frequently asked questions.

In the first week, we’ll focus on the project management aspects of an SAP S/4HANA conversion project. This will be complemented by presenting SAP’s methodology and the tools we provide for planning a project. We’ll also cover solutions to help you take the first steps on a transformation journey, such as SAP Transformation Navigator.

In week 2, we’ll look at all the Finance-related conversion topics. The information should help you understand the mandatory activities you need to follow for a successful system conversion.

Week 3 will be dedicated to the business partner and customer/vendor integration (CVI). We’ll cover topics like employee synchronization and the available accelerators for CVI synchronization.

In the last week of the course, we’ll look at Logistics. One of the topics will be MRP, with the focus on MRP lists and the MRP areas. We’ll also look at some cross-topics like Output Management for SAP S/4HANA and Settlement Management.
