Course Summary

Today's organizations operate in a world that is increasingly digitalized and networked. As a result, the scope of integration is increasing as they add technologies such as software as a service (SaaS), Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) to their existing landscapes. However, to succeed with this transformation and become intelligent enterprises, organizations require a foundation of integrated business processes and data.

The SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology helps you along this journey to becoming an intelligent enterprise as it helps you define and execute a holistic integration strategy for your organization, which can cover SAP and third-party integration technologies.

In this course, you’ll learn how to raise the integration maturity level of your organization by applying the SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M) along defined use cases. You’ll get to know how to perform an assessment of your current enterprise integration strategy. Then you’ll explore how to design a hybrid integration platform, which is tailored to the current and future integration needs of your organization. You’ll learn how to define integration best practices, which guide your developers to build enterprise-grade integration scenarios. And finally, we’ll look at the organizational dimension of enterprise integration. You’ll discover how to enable a practice of empowerment to scale out integration development across and beyond your organization. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice how to apply ISA-M with the help of a case study. After an introduction to the case study, you’ll take over the role of an integration architect and apply what you just learned about ISA-M to a real-life (anonymized) example.
